Join us in the Ciminelli Recital Hall at Rockwell Hall for a guest artist recital featuring trombonist Tim Smith!

Timothy Smith has held the position of 2nd Trombone with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra since 2009, and also served as Acting Bass Trombone for three seasons spanning 2016-2019. Prior to joining the BPO, Tim performed with the San Diego Symphony and Opera, and also the Jacksonville Symphony. Mr. Smith has also appeared with the Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Boston Pops, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Grant Park Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony and Opera, Sun Valley Summer Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, Virginia Symphony, Chicago’s Music of the Baroque, and many ensembles throughout greater Chicago.

•Ciminelli Recital Hall is located on FLOOR 3 of Rockwell Hall at Buffalo State College. •Handicap accessible entrance with elevator to the recital hall located via the building entrance at parking lot I-30 (rear of Rockwell Hall off the Iroquois Drive entrance to campus off Elmwood Avenue) •FREE PARKING for this event will be in the general campus lots surrounding Rockwell Hall (Lots R-1, R-2, R-3 via the Rockwell Road entrance to campus; Lots I-30, I-32, I-33 via the Iroquois entrance to campus)
