Two Buffalo franchises, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and The Strictly Hip, collaborate to celebrate the music of The Tragically Hip at the Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
For 25 years, The Strictly Hip have been evangelists, spreading the good word of The Tragically Hip’s music far and wide, taking an academic and curatorial approach to performing the music of Canada’s most popular band. The music of The Tragically Hip is presented with reverence, respect, and accuracy.
In 2017, Bradley Thachuk, The Strictly Hip and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra premiered an exciting new collection of classic Tragically Hip songs featuring a full symphony orchestra. On Saturday July 23, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Bradley Thachuk will present a program of Tragically Hip hits and fan favorites at Buffalo’s beautiful Outer Harbor concert venue.
