Hear the story of the Civil War as it’s rarely been told: through the eyes of female soldiers. Local storytellers Lorna MacDonald Czarnota and Merri Lee Debany will tell the tale of two women disguised as men who fought in the Civil War.

“Soup and Civil War” join us for homemade soup and bread following the performance. This event is expected to fill up quickly, and is limited to the first 50 people. Reservations are necessary. Call the History Center at 716-434-7433. The suggested donation is $5 per person.
