The Talking Dead Heads were formed in 2018, when guitarist Jason Staniszewski was asked to put a group together for a show at Nietzsche’s. The band tries to encapsulate the energy The Talking Heads and Grateful Dead put forth in a live atmosphere. The setlists are always an entwined array of both groups songs, and a fun journey through all eras of their music.
Sonny Baker takes on the role of David Byrne, with his uncanny dances, fantastic vocals and guitar work. The band also features Matt Felski on drums, Tony Petrocelli on bass and vocals, and Scott Molloy on keys and vocals.
