Art should have few, if any, constraints. This is the mantra carried by WNY metal veterans, Inertia.

Beginning initially as a 3 piece in 2014, Inertia classifies themselves as “experimental technical death metal.” Having played together during the metal wave of the 2010s in Calamity from the Skies, Kahlil Sarikey, Doug Griffith Jr, and Steve McIntosh are no strangers to the Buffalo heavy music scene. In 2019, they brought in Gus Brand to round out the rhythm section; previously known for his work with local underground heros- Ishkabbible.

Drawing from a vast array of influences, their goal is simply to have fun, which they convey with their face melting live performances.

Late 2023 sees the release of their 3rd musical piece- The Human Element. This January, Buffalo Iron Works will host its release show; come witness it performed, in its entirety, for the very first time!
