WHAT:
A whole weekend to connect and just have fun with the entire Young Adult cancer community. Every aspect of Cancerchella is for YOU, from engaging workshops and inspirational speakers to pajama parties and friendship bracelets. We promise that there will be something for everyone, and we hope this will become an annual event for everyone to come together year-after-year.

At this vibrant event, we’ll help you find a supportive squad that will understand exactly what you’re going through. Cancerchella will give you the space and time to hang out with all members of the Young Adult community, to share experiences and learn about the topics that matter most to you.

Any young adult impacted by cancer and their loved ones

WHEN: April 26 – April 28

WHERE:
aLoft @ 500 Pearl
(Should anyone want to stay overnight at our venue, hotel rooms will be available to participants at a discounted rate of $149 per night plus hotel fees)

AGENDA
Friday:
– Registration, distribution of Swag Bags, happy hour
– Interactive networking
– Bowling event with karaoke
– Late night pajama party with movie showing

Saturday:
– Community and vendor exhibit hall
– Headline speakers and highlighted guests during group sessions
– Breakout sessions including facials, yoga, and storytelling
– Makeovers, tattoos, caricatures, tarot readings, photo booth, and other fun activities
– Education workshops with topics like cancer literacy, fertility, and sexuality
– Interactive “Taskmaster” game show, with prizes awarded to contestants
– Silent Disco party

Sunday:
– Morning water aerobics and yoga classes
– Final brunch together with weekend highlight reel
– Closing session
