This festival highlights talented 4th, 5th and 6th graders from schools throughout Western New York. Students perform an audition in January and are selected based on their performance. This festival is one of four that take place during the month of March.
There are TWO separate concerts:
Band and 1:30 Blue Chorus- 1:30 p.m.
String Orchestra and 4:00 Red Chorus- 4:00 p.m.
ECMEA selects conductors with the primary goal of enriching each student’s artistic development. Conductors are chosen from highly respected local programs, nationally recognized collegiate programs, and the ranks of professional conductors.
PLEASE NOTE: Kleinhans Music Hall charges its own fee for parking in one of their lots.
